Singapore Civil Defense Force is an uniformed organization under the purview of Ministry of Home Affairs. SCDF provides fire fighting, emergency response and ambulatory services to the 4.8 million population of residents in Singapore.
This new command and control system comprises of a new multimedia communications system, digital voice recording, Video Management System and Videowall Display System integrated with computer aided dispatch solution. This new system is a Real-time, Seamless and Integrated Video Hub leveraging on the latest wireless and multimedia technologies.
One unique feature of this system is it allows real-time video transmission to be relayed by ground responders to HQ operations centre. This will give planners and officers at HQ better situational awareness and allow them to make faster and better operational decisions.
