SPF - Digital Signage System
Introduction
The Singapore Police Force (“SPF”) of the Ministry of Home Affairs (“MHA”) operates numerous Customer Service Counters across Singapore. The Customer Service Counters serve as convenient customer service points to provide information and services to the members of public (MoP).
SPF seeks to modernise the operation at the selected Customer Service Counters to adopt automated kiosk technology for providing round the clock services to the MoP.
Touch Information Panel
The Touchscreen Information Panel is made up of a single 43″ touch screen LED panel with a kiosk personal computer, which is protected by an outdoor floor-mounted aluminum shell.
The 43” touch interactive LED panel features 1920 x 1080 FHD resolutions, built-in speakers, and an anti-glare screen surface for displaying high-quality video and audio content. The touchscreen supports 10 point touch, and the user may input data with their finger, fingernail, pencil, plastic card, or most types of stylus. The touch interactive panel has a viewing angle of 178°/178° and can operate continuously for over 50,000 hours.
Digital Signage System
The Digital Signage System includes a 55” LED display panel, media player, and a customized weatherproof enclosure for outdoor usage, or it can be used indoors without the enclosure.
The 55” LED panel has 1920 x 1080 FHD resolutions, built-in speakers, and an anti-glare screen surface for displaying high-quality video and audio content. The panel has a viewing angle of 178°/178° and can operate continuously for more than 50,000 hours.
The outdoor weatherproof enclosure is wall mounted at a height of about 1.7 to 1.8 meters from the floor to the highest edge. The internal side of the waterproof enclosure is fitted with multi-way power distribution outlets to provide power to the panel and media player.
To ensure proper ventilation, each enclosure is fitted with an industrial air conditioner or fan. The enclosure also has lockable and detachable doors with no exposed hinges from the outside. Authorized personnel may easily access the enclosure from the front and sides for maintenance and support.
